Huge congratulations to Miss Lowe on this wonderful achievement!
MEP visits DAOS!
We were delighted to welcome Vicky Ford MEP to our School last week who delivered a speech to our DAOS Economics Society. It was an excellent talk on the trials and tribulations of the UK departing Europe and how she is in a lot of discussion with other European MEPs about what will be the future role of the UK in Europe. Many thanks to Mr Simpson, Head of Economics, for organising this visit.
Gym and Dance success!
A sell out audience were entertained to a fantastic gym and dance display which took place over two nights in our Main School Hall this week! Year 7 – 13 students wowed us with their tumbling and acrobatics during the gym display and there were some mesmerising solo and group performances during the dance section of the programme! It was a highlight to see our Year 10 Dance Leaders choreograph their first dance for Year 7 and 8 students.
Congratulations to all students who took part and those who helped behind the scenes. Special thanks to Miss Coakley and Miss Lord for organising the event! All their hard work and dedication made this year’s gym and dance display another huge success!
