Arkley Junior Golf Championships!

On Tuesday 8th May, we entered 2 teams in the Arkley Junior Golf Championship which took place at Arkley Golf Club, Barnet. Congratulations to Maisie o’Shea and Alfie Reynolds who finished 3rd and Tom Ranger, Tom Liddamore and Victor Blaikley-Gomez who finished 2nd!

Many thanks to Mr Meekin for organising our participation in this event and congratulations on winning the teacher’s competition!

Other exciting golf news is that Maisie O’Shea finished 4th in the Herts Mid Handicap Trophy at Redbourn Golf Club, held in April. This was from a field of 70 boys and girls – she finished 1st in the girl’s category! As a result, she was selected to represent Hertfordshire girls. A fantastic achievement – well done Maisie!

Work to start on new Teaching Block!

This week Mrs Nemko, our Headteacher, announced the exciting news that work will commence on our new teaching block at the end of this month. We will be launching a fundraising campaign to help furnish the new block with fixtures and fittings as these are not funded by the DfE grant. Please look out for ‘Buy a Brick’ and other fundraising opportunities over these next months.

We would like to take this opportunity to publically thank the Dame Alice Owen’s Foundation for their very significant contribution towards the funds received from the DfE which has made this project possible.

Look out for updates on the progress of the new build here on latest news!
