Consultation for Admissions Arrangements 2019/20 (current Year 5) – please refer to the Admissions Overview page for consultation document.

Please refer to our Key Dates for a full timetable of relevant dates and opportunities to visit the school. The next opportunity to visit our School is our annual Open Day taking place on Thursday 19th July 2018 (2–5pm).

Secondary Transfer September 2018 (current Year 6 children)

The application process for Secondary Transfer 2018 has now closed.  If you wish to make a late application you should contact your home Local Authority who will be able to advise you.

Thursday 1st March 2018 – National Allocation Day. Your home Local Authority will inform you which secondary school your child has been allocated and give you information about the continuing interest process.

If you are interested in a school place for admission in 2019 you should:-

  • Read our Admissions Arrangements for Secondary Transfer 2019 – the consultation document can be viewed here.  The final document will be available  in March 2018.   This will give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with our admissions rules.

If you are interested in applying under our musical aptitude or academic criteria your child will need to sit assessment tests.  Before registering you should:-

  • Ensure your Child’s permanent address falls within one of the Local Priority Areas detailed below.
  • Ensure your child is available for the dates of the tests as detailed on our Key Dates page.
  • Complete the online Test Registration Form which will be available here between 16th May and 19th June 2018.  Please note we are unable to accept test registration requests after the published date of 19th June 2018.

Local Priority Areas

In order to register for our Entrance Exam and/or Music Tests your child’s permanent home address must be within one of the listed areas below by the date of registration. Children from outside of these areas are not eligible to be considered under these criteria and therefore cannot take our tests.
