Secondary Transfer September 2018 (current Year 5 children)
Please refer to our Key Dates for a timetable of the secondary transfer process.
If you are interested in a school place for admission in 2018 you should:-
- Read our Admissions Arrangements for Secondary Transfer 2018 – please follow link. This will give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with our admissions rules.
If you wish to apply under our musical aptitude or academic criteria, your child will need to sit our assessment tests. Please refer to our Key Dates for details of test and registration dates. Before registering you should:-
- Read our Admissions Arrangements detailed above.
- Ensure your Child’s permanent address falls within one of the Local Priority Areas detailed below.
- Ensure your child is available for the dates of the tests as detailed on our Key Dates page.
- Complete the online Test Registration Form available here between 17th May 2017 – 14th June 2017. Please note we are unable to accept test registrations after this date.
Local Priority Areas
In order to register for our Entrance Exam and/or Music Tests your child’s permanent home address must be within one of the listed areas below by the date of registration. Children from outside of these areas are not eligible to be considered under these criteria and therefore cannot take our tests.

Reports show how places were allocated on march 1st each year according to our Admissions criterion.

Movement on the academic, music and distance lists will be regularly updated on this page. Please use this as your first point of reference and please do not contact the Admissions Office for this information – this will enable them to deal with priority calls during this busy time.
Academic Places have been offered up to and including ranked position number 148.
Music Places have been offered up to and including ranked position number 19.
Distance Criteria 2/7 – the furthest home-school distance we have been able to allocate a place to is 667.89 metres from the address point for the school.
