Admissions Arrangements for 2020/21

Consultation on the above arrangements took place between 19th November 2018 and 6th January 2019.   The proposed arrangements are available to view on the Admissions Overview section.

If you are interested in a school place for admission in 2020 you should:-

  • Read our Admissions Arrangements for Secondary Transfer 2020 – the consultation document can be viewed on the Admissions Overview section. The final document will be available to view here by 15th March 2019. This will give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with our admissions rules.

If you are interested in applying under our musical aptitude or academic criteria your child will need to sit assessment tests.  Before registering you should:-

  • Ensure your Child’s permanent address falls within one of the Local Priority Areas detailed below.
  • Ensure your child is available for the dates of the tests as detailed on our Key Dates page.
  • Complete the online Test Registration Form which will be available here at the from 15th May – 19th Please note we are unable to accept test registration requests after the published date of 19th June.

Local Priority Areas

In order to register for our Entrance Exam and/or Music Tests your child’s permanent home address must be within one of the listed areas below by the date of registration. Children from outside of these areas are not eligible to be considered under these criteria and therefore cannot take our tests.

Continuing Interest for current Year 7 students
