Triumphant day at Tolmers for our Year 7’s!

Many thanks to Mr Nolan (Teacher of PE/Deputy Pastoral Leader Key Stage 3) for this report:

“This week, our new Year 7’s experienced their first trip as an Owen’s student. They spent a fun filled day partaking in a number of outdoor and adventurous activities. The purpose of the visit to Tolmers was for the students to get to know each other, their form prefects and their form tutors better.

The students were split up into their forms and experienced a variety of activities such as Archery, Rock Climbing, Air Rifle Shooting, Inflatable Assault Course and the ‘Sweeper’.

At the end of the day, prizes were given out by Mr Ward to one member of each form who had impressed with their attitude and application. The winners were:

7LZS – Caspain Smuts

7KV – Ava Crofts

7OP – Ayan Aziz

7APP – Laura Guiterrez Muurisepp

7SA – Maya Felton

7JB – Alex Jordan-Jones

7MC – Kassya Nelson

Congratulations to these students, but also well done to all of Year 7 who were fantastically well behaved and were a true credit to the school. Thank you to all the form tutors and prefects who made the visit so special for the students.”
