• Astroturf Surface
  • The school hires out a wonderful floodlit Astroturf facility which is ideal for sports such as hockey, football training. It can also be used as multi sports training area and is conveniently split into halves or quarters for various activities.
• Outdoor Football Pitches x 6
  • The school is justifiably proud of the quality of its’ superb grass football pitches. We have three full size and three mini sized pitches which are well maintained and sand dressed annually. When the school is not using these they are available to hire to FA registered club sides.
• Outdoor Cricket Pitch. X 1. C1
  • Adult full size with 55m boundary all sides.
  • The main school cricket pitch is a club standard facility with double length sight screens, boundary ropes. It provides a lovely setting for a game of cricket. The outfield is flat and well maintained and the view from our splendid sports pavilion is spectacular.
• Outdoor Floodlit Netball/Tennis Courts x 4 (each is adult size, entire area 80m x 32m)

• • Our recently refurbished netball and tennis courts can provide four netball matches or six tennis matches as required.  They have been built to an extremely high specification and the lighting on this area is exceptional.

• Outdoor Cricket Nets x 4 bays.

• • Our outdoor cricket nets provide the school with a very useful practice area. There are two pace nets with concrete bases, and two spin nets with dynamic type bases.

• Outdoor Long and Triple Jump run up and landing area in rubberised red tarmac.

• Outdoor Discus cage.
• Concrete and netting.

• Outdoor Shot Putt circle.

• Concrete with stop board.

• Outdoor 400m Athletics Track.

 

• Indoor Studio.

• • This is an exceptional space for activities such as dance, self defence, floor gymnastics and Yoga. The sprung floor is made of Canadian Maple wood, and the mirrored wall provides immediate feedback for students. This intimate space is a highly sought after facility.

• Indoor Sports Hall.

• • The sports hall is a fantastic and well used facility. One of the biggest in the county, it is well maintained and provides a suitable area for junior cricket nets and five a side football. The basketball, volleyball and netball facilities are second to none and provide full sized playing areas in a very well illuminated venue.  Badminton features highly in the school PE curriculum, and several badminton clubs have continued to hire the sports hall on a regular basis.

• Indoor Gymnasium

• • Sprung Floor 20m x 12m. – The gymnasium is ideal for a variety of activities such as dance, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, keep fit and self defence classes. It has a beautifully kept sprung floor and changing room adjacent. The lighting has been recently refurbished and it is another ideal space for clubs and societies.

• The Sports Pavilion
  • commands a perfect view over the playing fields. It provides two changing rooms with integral showers alongside a meeting room and galley kitchen.
