Key Dates

Entrance Exams – we aim to provide test dates by the end of the autumn term for tests taking place later in the year in order that interested parents can ensure their child’s availability. One further date will be arranged, only if required, for children that are medically unfit on the test day (a medical certificate will be required) or have religious reasons for being unable to attend. WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE CHILDREN FOR ANY OTHER REASONS THAN THOSE STATED ABOVE.

Parents of Year 5 and Year 6 children are warmly invited to attend our Tours of the school during a normal school day which take place on

Monday 7th, Tuesday 8th and Thursday 10th October

9 am arrival. Tours depart between 9.15 and 9.30 am and take approximately 45 minutes.

NO BOOKING IS REQUIRED – come along on your preferred morning

There is no parking available on site. If driving please park with consideration for our local residents and do not block roads, pavements or driveways.

Key Dates Secondary Transfer Admissions Entry September 2024

23 July 2024 – Continuing interest lists for secondary transfer close. To retain your continuing interest you will need to make an In Year Application.

Key Dates Secondary Transfer Admissions Entry September 2025

2 September 2024 – Entrance Exam Part I (Verbal Reasoning) and First round Musical Aptitude Test (those registering for both will sit the VR followed by the 20 minute Musical Aptitude test)

3 September 2024 – Further Entrance Test date if required

16 September 2024 – Results of first round Musical Aptitude Test emailed out

18 September 2024 – Results of Verbal Reasoning Test emailed out

23 – 27 September 2024 – Second round Musical Aptitude Tests

28 September 2024 – Entrance Exam Part II (English and Maths)

17th October- Results of second round music test emailed out

23rd October – Results of second round academic tests emailed out

31st October – Deadline for Year 6 parents to apply for a school place by submitting their Common Application Form to their home Local Authority

3 March 2025 – National Allocation Day. Your home Local Authority will email you the school you have been allocated

4 March 2025 – We will email applicants who have been allocated a place at our school and also those applicants remaining on our Continuing Interest list (as they gave us a higher preference than the place they have been offered)
