All achievements for each activity are recorded on eDofE by students uploading documents/photos to their personal account (they are provided with a username and password), which are then approved by the school’s assessor to complete the award.
The length of time you have to spend on each section depends on the level of programme you’r
e doing. The PDF (right) gives a summary of levels and timescales and a wealth of information is available on the DofE website:
Miss A Lord’s message to current students:
“Are you the type of person that has a real zeal for life? Do you enjoy helping people, learning new skills or improving ones you already have, keeping physically active and most of all enjoy the outdoors? If you’ve said yes to most or all of these then DofE is for you.
To explore more information, or look at relevant links you can log in to Life VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) to help you make your decision about starting the scheme. When you’ve decided you want to take on the challenge of completing an award, or have any questions, please come and see me or contact me!”
