Under our Admissions Arrangements if we have more than 200 applications (our published admission number), we offer places according to our oversubscription criteria in the order set out below :-
Looked after children
22 children whose permanent home address is closest to the school
Siblings
Musical Aptitude (Maximum 10 places)
Academic Exam (Maximum 65 places)
Staff places
Closest to the school
* Please note children with EHCPs are also included in the allocations.
Of the 200 available allocations, we must accept at least 20 children from Islington. These places will be filled by children who accept their offers according to our oversubscription criteria (as outlined above).
If, after the initial allocations, we have filled 20 or more places with Islington children based on the above criteria, we will not need to consult the Islington lists. However, if fewer than 20 Islington children are allocated places, we select the next highest ranked child from the Islington music or academic list depending on where vacancies exist.
