Adjustments for Entrance Tests
If you consider that your child might be disadvantaged under the terms of the Disability Discrimination Act, or has special educational needs which require particular provision for the tests, you must:
- advise us at the start of the registration process by completing the Special Requirements section of the online Test Registration Form (TRF)
- provide written evidence (on headed notepaper) from the Head teacher of your child’s current school. This letter should outline your child’s normal way of working, the provision normally given and how this relates to the entrance tests.

It is very important you ensure that the paperwork is received by the School no later than the closing date for test registration. It may not be possible to consider information received after this date due to administrative constraints.
Following consideration of the written information parents will be advised of any adjustments the School decides are appropriate.
Arrangements might include:
- Enlarged type for examination papers
- A desk near the front of the examination room for the hearing impaired
- Extra time / rest breaks
