The Senior Student Team and the House Captains launched this year’s house competition with the first annual Great Keg Carry. Teams of Year 7s, 12s and 13s took part in a lunchtime Beer Keg rolling relay race to see which house was to be named the King of the Keg 2024!
And the winner is… (keg roll please)… Isledon (blue)!!
Clerkenwell (red), Goswell (green) and Hermitage (yellow) all put up a good fight, but Isledon demonstrated outstanding keg-rolling skills! As the winners, they then took on the staff team. It was certainly the closest Keg Roll we’ve ever seen but Isledon just pipped the staff team to the finish line.
Well done to all of our fantastic keg rollers and to the lively crowd supporting them, and congratulations to Isledon!
