Biology In Action for Y12 & Y13 Students

Last week, over 60 Y12 and 13 biologists visited the Biology In Action convention in London for an exciting day of informative discussions, interactive sessions and stories. The event is organised by Education in Action – founded by teachers who felt a strong passion about providing students with a motivational and educational experience not possible within the confines of the classroom.

From CRISPR technology to the impact of climate change, the talks shone a light on cutting-edge research and current issues from the world of biology.

The day also included a session specifically aimed at providing students with tools and information relating to examination success.

Thank you to Mrs Doust, Miss Elston and Mrs Rutlin for taking the students along.
