Congratulations to our Year 13 on a stunning set of A level results
We are delighted to share that this year, 44% of students at Dame Alice Owen’s School achieved 3 or
more A/A* grades, with 13% of these achieving 4 or more A* or A grades.
62% of all grades awarded were A* or A, with 28% of all exams graded A* and 34% A. 24% of grades were
awarded at a grade B meaning that 86% of all grades were A-B. 95% of all awarded results were graded A-C. These are results of which we are truly proud.
26 students have been offered their places at Oxbridge this year and at least 15 students have
been accepted onto a medical degree with one student accepted to dentistry. 90% of students
were accepted onto a course of their choice immediately.
Whilst the exam results are a fantastic achievement, we are also incredibly proud of our students for the
people that they have become. They are far more than their academic results alone. We know just how
much this cohort has contributed to the school community, whether that has been through their kindness
towards each other, their accomplishments in sports, the arts, their contribution to charitable activities, or
alike.
Our students are young adults who are confident in their beliefs, socially conscious and who have
learned to question and think independently.
As they embark on their next journeys, we are confident that they possess the skills and self-assurance to
succeed, and we wish them all the very best with all that they strive to accomplish.
