GCSE Results 2024

Dame Alice Owen’s School celebrates GCSE success 2024!

Dame Alice Owen’s School is delighted to announce yet another magnificent set of
GCSE examination results.

This year, an incredible 33% of all grades were awarded at grade 9, the highest
possible level of achievement. A further, 24% of grades were achieved at grade 8
with a staggering 67% of all grades awarded at levels 9-7.
94% of students achieved 5 or more standard passes at GCSE (grade 4+) including
English and maths.
6 of our students achieved an incredible 10 grade 9s with 38 students achieving 10
grades at level 8 and 9. These results are a true testament to the collective
commitment to high standards and academic rigour within our school community.

Our students, supported by their passionate and inspiring teachers, have proven that
when you strive for excellence and you commit to “never stop learning”, the
possibilities are endless. They are to be celebrated for their dedication to their
studies and they should be proud of all that they have achieved.

Hannah Nemko, Headteacher said “I would like to thank our staff for the unwavering
support and inspiration they give our young people; their passion for teaching and
their commitment to nurturing the potential in every student have played a pivotal
role in helping our students achieve these outstanding outcomes.
I would also like to thank our supportive parents and carers. It is only when we work
together, positively and respectfully, that such outcomes can be possible.

As we celebrate these outstanding accomplishments, we hope that our students will
continue to carry the precepts of the Owen’s Way with them throughout their lives.
We hope they continue to seek out opportunities for growth, that they look beyond
themselves whenever possible, that they strive to be the best they can be, and that
they continue to support others while allowing themselves to be supported when
needed.

We wish all our students the very best as they move into their next exciting chapter.
Congratulations to everyone on their own personal achievements.”
