Earlier in February, our Year 12 & 13 Art students had the pleasure of attending a landscape in charcoal workshop with artist Sophie Coe. Sophie studied fine art, graphic design and architecture and began her career working as an architect in the UK, Asia and Australia. On Tuesday 31st January, the Year 8 girls netball team played in the semi final of the U13 Herts County Cup. They faced a strong St Albans High School team and the last time these two teams met in the league, the game resulted in a draw. Owens got off to a flying start, taking an early lead. On Wednesday 1st February, our A Level Politics students had a guest lecture from BBC’s Amol Rajan. Amol was appointed the BBC’s first Media Editor in 2016.
