June 2020

We are very proud of our Year 8 team who made it to the finals of the Amazon Web Services competition for which students had to develop an app to solve a problem. Our students developed an app called ‘Apatheia’ to help children with IED (Intermittent Explosive Disorder) or other similar mood disorders cope and stay calm in and out of the school environment.

Students were told that their product “was brilliant, they really understood the need in the market. It’s a great idea delivered very well …They’ve also clearly taken a lot of time to understand their end-user …This is an exceptional piece of work, … a great deal of attention to detail”.
