Dame Alice Owen’s A Level Biology students once again achieved excellent success in the British Biology Olympiad this year!
The British Biology Olympiad is an annual advanced problem solving competition for A Level students. Students are presented with topics and ideas which they are not familiar with and so need to use their problem solving skills and understanding of core principles.
Last term, 18 A level Biology students took part and over 39% achieved Bronze, Silver or Gold Certificates. Many congratulations to all students, with a particular mention to Eiden, Felix, Marina and Thomas who were in the top 5% of all entrants and achieved the gold award! 🥇
