To kick off Black History Month, Dame Alice Owen’s Afro-Caribbean Society (ACS) took a trip into central London to witness David Olusoga, BAFTA winning filmmaker, author and presenter deliver a lecture on Black British history. Through a captivating exploration of key moments in history, including Windrush and other significant events in Africa, David discussed ways to reclaim the narratives around migration, highlighting the invaluable contributions of the Black community to modern British society.
