We had a fantastic time at Biology In Action lecture day with 60 Owen’s A-Level biologists. There were many inspiring speakers including Sarah Cosgroff who convinced us of the importance of Physics! Nessa Carey who brilliantly conveyed her message about Epigenetics being so interesting and important for the future. Tim Underwood who showed us the uses of new technology in cancer surgery and engaged our biologists with his humour and videos. The day was hosted by the wonderful Lucy Eckersley who made our teachers want to retrain in conservation.
