We have been chosen, by The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2025, to be the Comprehensive School of the Year 2025 (Southeast) alongside St Andrew’s Catholic School, Surrey.
Widely acknowledged as the most authoritative survey of the country’s top schools, the guide places Dame Alice Owen’s School as the highest performing non fully selective school in the country.
This is the third time that the school has received a similar honour since 2017. The Sunday Times announced that this award recognises the wonderful educational opportunities offered to the young people as well as the outstanding academic progress that students make.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our parents, students, governors and the Worshipful Company of Brewers, together with our exceptional teaching and support staff, all of whom should be very proud of this award. Without them, we would not be the school we are today.
