Non-Uniform Day To Raise Awareness For Charity Safeline – Hermitage House Social Action Project

This week, Hermitage House Social Action Captains arranged a non-uniform day at school to raise funds for their chosen charity, Safeline.

Hermitage House decided that they wanted to raise awareness and support for victims of sexual harassment and abuse. Students were encouraged to wear an item of blue or green to show their support.

The charity Safeline helps prevent sexual violence and supports anyone who has been affected. The charity wants to support more people who have been abused or are at risk of abuse, removing barriers that prevent people from accessing specialist support.

“As Social Action Captains, we believe that we have a duty to spread awareness and part of this is done through fundraising. This not only allows for money to go towards helping others, but through this we can educate our community on important matters such as sexual harassment and assault, which we have done through our chosen charity, Safeline.” – Y10 Social Action Captain, Ava.
