We had a fantastic time at Biology In Action lecture day with 60 Owen’s A-Level biologists. There were many inspiring speakers including Sarah Cosgroff who convinced us of the importance of Physics! Nessa Carey who brilliantly conveyed her message about Epigenetics being so interesting and important for the future. The Great Keg Carry

The Senior Student Team and the House Captains launched this year’s house competition with the first annual Great Keg Carry. Teams of Year 7s, 12s and 13s took part in a lunchtime Beer Keg rolling relay race to see which house was to be named the King of the Keg 2024! And the winner is… (keg roll please)… Isledon (blue)!!
